Brington Primary School uses the following uniform supplier:
www.brigadeuniformdirect.uk.com
To access the uniform list, click on the above link and search for Brington on the drop-down menu. Alternatively, the uniform list can be found in our policy below.
All uniform purchased will be delivered to the Brington Primary School address and then sent home with your child.
Alternatively, we have a stock of donated uniform items in good condition. These are available in the school reception area - please feel free to come in and have a look at what's on offer. We ask for a donation of 50p per item or whatever you can afford or consider appropriate, to the Brington PTA.
Our Uniform Policy states the following:
'Our school uniform colour is a combination of red and grey. Items can be bought from High Street shops. Several items are branded (jumpers/cardigans); it is not compulsory for branded items to be purchased and worn. Uniform which is unbranded, but is similar in colour, is acceptable.'
Earrings in school
Brington C of E Primary School follows Cambridgeshire County Council's guidance on children with pierced ears participating in PE and swimming lessons.
Earrings must be removed before PE and swimming lessons; children who are not able to remove and replace earrings themselves should come to school without them in on those days. Staff are not allowed to take out or put in earrings; we cannot cover newly-pierced ears with surgical tape for safety reasons.
We would strongly advise parents wishing to have their children's ears pierced to do so at the start of the summer holidays to allow time for healing and for the child to get used to removing and putting in earrings.
