  • Running success

    After taking part in the after school running club this term, ten of our pupils took part in a run on Sunday 20th March.  They all did really well and special congratulations go to Alex who came 6th, and to Pippa who came 7th, out of 130 competitors. Thank you to Mrs Pope for running the club and organising our participation in this event, and to Mrs Johnson and Mandy for their support.

    Today was the 100th day of this academic year and we have been celebrated by bringing in collections of 100 objects and doing lots of learning activities based around the number 100. Check out the photos! 
  • Congratulations Mrs Rumford

    Congratulations to Mrs Rumford, our school caterer, who this week secured a 5* rating for hygiene following a spot inspection of the school kitchen. 
  • Lent Challenge Week 1

    Our Lent Challenge for week 1 is to make sure that our whole school community know it is Lent. The girls decided to do this by making posters to place around the school and put up in our local churches and villages. We have also posted on Twitter and the school website. It is Lent! 
  • The Golden Mile

    As part of our drive for happy, healthy, high achieving pupils we are introducing a new initiative; the golden mile. Pupils are encouraged to walk or run as many miles as they can over set periods of time. They are trying to beat their personal best over time. 

    Today, we had a challenge to get an idea of our current fitness level before we start!

     

  • Badgers' Art Work

    Mrs Evans was so pleased with Badgers' Art work this week, she wanted to put it on the website for everyone to see.  We are trying to raise the awareness of art and improve our art skills this term in particular, so great to see Badgers off to a flying start.  I wonder what the other classes will be able to produce?
  • The Nativity

    Our Reception and Key Stage 1 pupils have performed a beautiful nativity for friends, parents and pre schol children today. What talented children we have!  Well done to all who took part. 
  • The first Christmas

    We worked in house groups today to remember the story of the First Christmas and GenR8 led our collective worship, telling the story from the shepherds' memory. Thank you Rev. Brenda for organising a lovely day. 
  • Feeling Christmassy

    We are all feeling Christmassy after a delicious Christmas lunch yesterday and our Christingle service in the beautiful Keyston church last night.
