We are absolutely thrilled to have been awarded the Silver School Games Award in recognition of our work in PE and School Sport 2015 - 2016. Thank you Mrs. Pope for all your hard work in helping us achieve this. Let's keep up the good work!
A very warm welcome to our three new members of staff this term. Staff are in school for the second day of our professional development where we are focusing on mastery and depth in mathematics.
Our Year 5 and 6 pupils spent today at Grafham Water. This morning, they had the opportunity to go on the high ropes and the climbing wall and this afternoon they had a taste of kayaking. Everyone pushed themselves to their personal limit. Well done everyone! More photos to follow soon.
Going, going gone - that was the story of the terrace wall today when 8 dads turned out to demolish it before we have the lazy lawn laid over the summer break. They did a Stirling job; without their help the project wouldn't have been possible as we couldn't afford it originally. However, with their support knocking the wall down and disposing of the rubble and soil, we managed to save nearly two thousand pounds, bringing the rest of the project in on budget. Thank you so much. It looks fantastic!
Congratulations to the cast and crew of our KS2 production 'The Ugly Duckling'. You did an amazing job (particularly considering the technical hitches).
Today we welcomed the three new teachers joining us in September. They are all really excited. The children have spent the afternoon in their new classes with their new teachers. Here are some photographs.
On Monday 13th June, our Year 3 and 4 pupils went to Woburn Safari Park to support their learning this term. A great day was had by all and many people at the park commented on our children's impeccable behavior. Well done Foxes, you are all stars.
On Tuesday 7th June, six Badgers travelled to St. Ives to participate in the HSSP hockey B tournament. There were a total of twelve teams, and they won six of their seven matches, narrowly beating Westfield in the battle for first place. Alex, Peter, Pippa, Bethan and Lyla all played exceedingly well despite the very hot weather, but man of the match, we all agreed, had to be Josh! Congratulations.
