• WE WON - the Quicksticks Hockey Level 3 competition

  What an amazing achievement for our Hockey players, who this afternoon won the Level 3 School Games Quicksticks hockey tournament, beating winning teams from areas all around Cambridgeshire.

  Last week they won the Huntingdon area tournament, beating thirteen teams and this put us through to today's tournament where we played teams that had won their area tournaments, all around Cambridgeshire. 

  On top of that, the team were complimented by one official for being the most polite and cheerful team - wow!

  The whole school community are so proud of you!  A big thank you to Mrs Johnson for all her hard work coaching you.

  

• Squirrels and Hedgehogs turn party planners

  Bear had never had a birthday, so Hedgehogs and Squirrels turned party planners last week and today all of their hard work turned to fruition when we helped Bear celebrate his birthday.  There were party games and party food and we gave him presents and cards as well as singing 'Happy Birthday' to him and helping him to blow out the candles on his cake.  He had a lovely time but was exhausted afterwards and we learnt lots about organizing an event!
