  • Cross Country

    Fri 22 Apr 2016
Twelve of our Year 5 and 6 pupils (3teams) took part in a cross country festival at Priory Park in St. Neots, this week. It was a massive event with hundreds of teams taking part. All of our teams put in a fantastic effort and more importantly, really enjoyed the event. A big thank you to parents for transporting our runners and to Mrs Pope for organising our participation.
  • Year 5 maths challenge winners

    Wed 20 Apr 2016
Once again, our Year 5 pupils have secured a place in the Cambridgeshire Year 5 Maths Challenge final, after competing with local schools last night and winning their heat.  Very well done to Maia, Amaya, Joshua and PJ who represented Brington at this event. We are thrilled to be through to the final, which will take place later in the term,  for a second year running.
  • New behaviour procedures

    Fri 15 Apr 2016

We've started the summer term by introducing some new behaviour procedures after listening to our pupils, who told us that the current system wasn't working and didn't seem fair. The new procedures are based on a smiley face traffic light system, with pupils being moved to Amber if they receive a warning about inappropriate behaviour and then to red, if they continue. If the poor behaviour is of a more serious nature they may be moved straight to red.   Three red faces and parents will get a phone call from the class teacher. Six red faces and parents will be asked to come into school to discuss how they will support us to improve their child's behaviour. We will continually review this new system and do please let us know your thoughts and comments as it evolves.
