Star Writers

Today we celebrated these wonderful story continuations written by two of our Y3 pupils. They are based on 'By Ash, Oak and Thorn' by Melissa Harrison and our class target for this half term is to avoid repetition by using pronouns or alternative noun phrases. Both these children have done it brilliantly!

Today we had our socks well and truly knocked off! From our youngest writers using their phonics to develop independent writing to our oldest pupils considering their readers and the impact of every single word, we are all trying hard to meet this term's writing targets. 

This afternoon in Celebration Assembly, we were treated to extracts from an autobiography, two diaries and a piece about real-life superheroes! Well done, you four!
