Good morning Eager Eagles!!
I hope your weekend was great – at least it isn’t raining every day now! It does seem such a long time since we were together in school and I am sure some of you are finding that being away from your friends for so long is more tricky on some days than others. I hope you are all having lots of conversations with the people in your homes and sharing how you feel with them. x
Morning Maths Task – (approximately 20 mins)
2/9 of 162

Reading (approximately 20 mins)
This week we will read a range of texts linked to British innovators.
The text today is about Alan Turing. Some of you may remember discussing him when we had our trip Bletchley Park! I have attached it at the bottom of the page. There is a short text to read and then VIPERS questions to answer.
The answers are on the last sheet so have a go before you either mark your work or ask someone to mark it for you.
Maths Lesson (approximately 45 mins)
We are going to continue to use the same website for maths. I think the videos are great and it is really useful to revise some of the topics we studied earlier in the year.
As usual, follow the link below. Select and watch the video for Summer Term Week 3. Lesson 1 – Simplify fractions using knowledge of common factors
Then answer the questions on the worksheet and mark your work.
Please remember to blog if you need to ask any questions.
Writing Lesson (approximately 30 mins)
The Lighthouse - day 3.
Use the powerpoint which will guide you through the lesson.
