Together, striving to be the best that we can be!

Monday 1st June

Good morning, lovely Eagles!

I hope you had a wonderful half term and enjoyed lots of family time. Wasn't the weather glorious?! We spent lots of the week out in our garden and I'm proud to report that we managed to eat the first of the food from our new veggie container garden - lettuce. We've been doing lots of baking, too, and then going out walking or on our bikes to try and burn off some of the calories!

Mrs Kennedy and I have tried hard to think of tasks that you will enjoy doing to the best of your ability. Most of the English tasks have an example below them to show you what we're looking for and we hope you will enjoy sharing how much you love your favourite stories. The art task can be completed over three afternoons and has lots of potential for you to produce something you can be really proud of! Please do share your learning with us where you can and we will make sure that lots of examples are shared with a bigger audience on the school website. I also have my list ready to jot down virtual house points ready for the next Celebration Assembly!

Don't worry if there's something you don't understand or need to ask a question about - it will take us all a few days to get used to the changes and I'll check the blog as often as I possibly can.
